Clarksville Peach Festival 2012

This was by far my favorite appearance this year so far! I love my Clarksville pageant family so much and everyone there is so supportive. I got to be involved in so many activities all 3 days of the Peach Festival and every single one of them was a blast. I started off the weekend Thursday afternoon judging the lip sync contest which was a blast and the winner was absolutely adorable. Later that night, I attended a concert and the band was really great! I started early Friday morning going to watch the greased pig race and that was followed by the frog race and the terrapin derby. The children were so cute with their frogs and their turtles. They would get so excited to watch their little critters go! Then I got to judge the peach cobbler eating contest which is the biggest event of the festival. It was so much fun and quite yummy on top of that. After I got done with all those events, I spent the rest of the afternoon cooling off and signing autographs. That night there was a live DJ and a lot of music and dancing. We checked out all the different vendors and booths with everything from handmade jewelry to paintings. Saturday morning was the Peach Festival parade, and I rode on a float with all the local titleholders. I rode with Miss Johnson Country 2012, Teen Peach, and my cousin queen, Miss Johnson County 2013, Deidre Holben. Our float was adorable and there were so many people that came out to see the parade. 

The weekend was so much fun and I couldn't ask for better directors! The Peach Board is so amazing and they give so much of their time and work so hard. There are people in Clarksville that I truly love like family and I miss them so much!!

The peach festival was so much fun and I can completely understand why they are famous for their delicious peaches! It was definitely a hot couple of days, but the fun and the people made the heat totally worth it.

Miss Greater Camden Fashion Show

Miss Greater Camden Fashion Show

This was the very first appearance that I made as Miss Arkansas Valley 2013, and I was so excited because it also involved a alot of my friends, was a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network, and was in my town of Camden. We of course had Miss Greater Camden 2012, Sarah Sutton, and Miss Greater Camden's Outstanding Teen 2012, Haley Bird, but Miss South Arkansas, Lauren Howell, also came out for the event. They introduced not just those queens, but all of the local titleholders from the area that participated as well. I modeled a dress from Kristen's in Camden that I actually already owned because I just love to shop at Kristen's. There were also models there from The Rainbow Connection in Camden and Razzle Dazzle Children's Boutique in El Dorado. We all had a great time and it was definitely a really great first appearance to make as your Miss Arkansas Valley 2013.

Picture and Appearance Updates

Oh My Goodness! I am so far behind!!!!

Hey guys!

        We have been taking pictures at all my appearances like crazy, but I finally unloaded all the pictures on the card onto my computer and finally have time to update you on all the amazing opportunities that I have been given the chance to be a part of over the last 6 months since I was crowned in June. I am going to do them all in different posts and label all of them by the event so you guys can see everything separate, instead of doing one huge post.

Miss Arkansas Valley 2013 Weekend

My experience at the Miss Arkansas Valley pageant was simply amazing. They have a really unique dorm housing program. All the girls stay together for the weekend in student housing so that we can really bond and get to know each other. I made some amazing friends and really funny memories that will make great stories! We all had as much fun talking and laughing as we did on stage! With it being my first preliminary, I was a little anxious, but all the girls made me feel so comfortable and we were all so supportive of each other! It was a great weekend, full of great people! I miss them already! I can't wait to go to preliminaries over the next year and support all of them! I was blessed with an adorable, funny, and super sweet Teen Queen, Miss Cori Keller! I think sharing the next year with her is going to be a blast!! I am also SO thankful to have such amazing directors and there are so many people that had a part in putting the weekend together. From our royalty luncheon to the final crowning, the whole weekend was wonderful!

Hey! I'm Morgan! Miss Arkansas Valley 2013

Hey there!

I am Morgan Grady, Miss Arkansas Valley 2013! I am so excited for the next year and all of the amazing opportunities that it has in store for me. I have only held my title for 4 weeks and already have been having a blast! I will be sure to keep you guys updated with pictures of everything from parades, the Peach Festival, and any and all of my appearances! I also want to keep you updated on anything that I do with my platform, and I will probably post some current events and media about that as well!

I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be even a small part of the Miss America Organization and can't wait to see what lies ahead of me!
